3.2-release NFS client to Linux NFS server: mount hangs.

I've been wrestling with this for a day now.

OpenBSD 3.2-release box is a client to a Linux 2.4.19 NFS server. Mounting the server from a Linux client works. Also, the Linux box is serving NIS to the OpenBSD box just fine. Here're some details:

(IP's have been double checked.)
openbsd - 10.1.1.23

linux - 10.1.1.12

openbsd# uname -a
OpenBSD openbsd 3.2 GENERIC#25 i386

openbsd# rpcinfo -p

   program vers proto port
    100000 2 tcp 111 portmapper     100000 2 udp 111 portmapper     100007 2 udp 933 ypbind
    100007 2 tcp 810 ypbind

openbsd# rpcinfo -p linux

   program vers proto port
    100000 2 tcp 111 portmapper     100000 2 udp 111 portmapper     100024 1 udp 32768 status
    100024 1 tcp 32768 status
    100004 2 udp 739 ypserv
    100004 1 udp 739 ypserv
    100004 2 tcp 742 ypserv
    100004 1 tcp 742 ypserv
    100009 1 udp 974 yppasswdd
    391002 2 tcp 32835
 600100069 1 udp 874
 600100069 1 tcp 876

    100011 1 udp 648 rquotad
    100011 2 udp 648 rquotad
    100011 1 tcp 651 rquotad
    100011 2 tcp 651 rquotad
    100003 2 udp 2049 nfs
    100003 3 udp 2049 nfs
    100021 1 udp 32798 nlockmgr
    100021 3 udp 32798 nlockmgr
    100021 4 udp 32798 nlockmgr
    100005 1 udp 32799 mountd
    100005 1 tcp 32838 mountd
    100005 2 udp 32799 mountd
    100005 2 tcp 32838 mountd
    100005 3 udp 32799 mountd
    100005 3 tcp 32838 mountd

openbsd# showmount -e linux
Exports list on linux:

/home 10.1.1.0/24

openbsd# pfctl -d # no scrub rules or anything.
pfctl: pf not enabled

openbsd# mount linux:/home /mnt

At this point mount hangs and may or may not return the following error:
nfs server linux:/home: not responding

If I break the mount process, the mount_nfs process stays hung and will not die.

Am I completely missing something? Am I a fucking idiot? Any suggestions/comments/flames appreciated.

dmesg for the hell of it:
