Re: Built-In Apache & HTTPS -- Solved!
From: Alex Kirk <alex(at)schnarff.com>
Date: Fri Jan 03 2003 - 16:23:11 EST I figured it out! As I'd said in my original postings on the topic, I was switching from a home-rolled Apache over to the pre-installed version. Well, my httpd.conf had "ServerRoot /usr/local/apache" instead of "ServerRoot /var/www". Once I made this switch, suddenly everything worked -- https is up, the process runs as www, everything! Of course, I'll have to make some site-specific tweaks, but that's no problem. Hallelujah! Thank you very much to everyone who has been so diligent in helping me through this. It's efforts like yours that help keep me going (and donating) with OpenBSD.
