I've just tried the same thing with a U10 under Solaris 8 as client - same problem. NFS mount, read and write work, but locking (fcntl) fails.

I'm still wondering what could be wrong. I ran a ktrace/kdump on rpc.lockd on the OpenBSD server and I can see that there is some exchange going on, but it doesn't tell me much.

Is there *anybody* out there using OpenBSD as NFS server who could give me a hand? That would be much appreciated...

Regards,

Thomas
