You really need to experience a wider variety of sparcs. This isn't feasible for all of them.

I really would like to have eeprom, and for sparc owners this is important. Things like:

"auto-boot?=false"

and

"boot-device=/iommu/sbus/espdma@4,840..."

and diag-device, etc.

These would be really nice to set from the initial install, before rebooting or issuing 'halt'. While Andrew has a valid point, some sparcs dont really 'halt' gracefully. This could be cleared with a symlink quite simply, and doesn't even take up space.
