i know someone will shoot me for asking this kind of stupid question, but:

can I just put the line "option NMBCLUSTERS=8192" in '/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/conf/copy_of_GENERIC' and then 'config /usr/src/sys/arch/i386/conf/copy_of_GENERIC', 'make' ...etc.?

can i put that line anywhere in the 'copy_of_GENERIC'-file or does it need to be placed somewhere special?

if everything above is wrong, could someone explain "Somefile" (as seen here http://www.openbsd.org/faq/faq5.html#Building) to me? if i just make a file with the line "option NMBCLUSTERS=8192" in it, it don't really seems to work. ;-)

cheers
