I've installed OpenBSD 3.1 on a Netfinity before, also with IBM SCSI disks and the same Adaptec SCSI card - no problems.

When the machine boots, hit Ctrl+A to enter the SCSI cards' BIOS and make sure the drives are both detected, have a separate LUN, report geometries, etc. Also, it might not hurt to give them a low level format from within the BIOS if the option is available (should be!).

Your boot device will typically be the drive with the lowest LUN.
