"ps aux" not displaying memory values

I've got a low-priority question that's probably due to some snafu on my part.

For a while now since upgrading to 3.2, I've noticed that "ps aux" shows 0.0 in the "%MEM" column for every single running program. Obviously, that's not correct, especially since top gives me decent memory numbers, and the "VSZ" and "RSS" values in ps are still showing up.

I can't say precisely if this occured after upgrading or if it's more recent; I noticed maybe two months ago, and I upgraded over four months back. Obviously, it's not hurting my system too badly...but I'd like to know why this is happening, so I can correct whatever's wrong.

Thanks,
Alex Kirk
