openbsd newbie havin' troubles with php

hi there!

just subscribed to the list. two weeks ago i installed openbsd 3.2 for the first time and i already love it :-))) tnx guys for this nice os!!!! because this system is still running and i was able to install pure-ftpd, samba aso. i decided to move my servers [firewall, webserver, fileserver] from slackware to openbsd.

the only app that 'doesn't work' is php. i can configure it with the options i need [mysql, gd, ftp, libpng, -jpeg...] but it always stops compiling with the message 'warning: tempnam() possibly used unsafely; consider using mkstemp()'. there's also a message complaining about a library that '...needs some functionality by -lpng. I have the capability to make that library automatically link in when you link to this library'. i tried to install php 4.1.2, 4.2.1 and 4.3.1 and i get the same error with each version. i'm using a source-dist of apache [1.3.27 and 2.0.45, same php err-msg] i've downloaded and installed.

i can't believe that there's no solution for this but i couldn't find it till now. also i don't know what library php is complaining about and the tempnam() and mkstemp() functions[?].

i was looking for an openbsd forum, but also couldn't find none [exept some empty forums generated by plattforms]. is there an official forum for openbsd users somewhere on the net?

tia for any help/tips/links

greetz
