KDE-3.1.1 vs glx

Hi. This may be a strictly ports@ question, and I apologize in advance if that's the case. I'm running kde-3.1.1 on 3.3 and whenever I have X load the glx module I get a 127 Mb kdeinit.core file in my home directory when I exit. Is this problem known to anyone else? I have the stock 4.2.1 XFree86 with a patch for the nv driver from one of the X developers and an Nvidia GeForce2 Go chip. Thanks in advance.
