upgrading all ports

Hi,

I still have mplayer coredumping on -current (I've tried many FLAVOR combinations and the package from ftp-site didn't work either) and that's why would like to reinstall all the installed ports (to bump up their versions eventually). Would

  pkg_info | sort | cut -d' ' -f1 | grep -v tcsh | xargs sudo pkg_delete -f

be the best way to do it? How do the others deal with it? Thanks

Also is there a way to get rid of "-f" in the line above (i.e. to sort ports according to their dependencies)? Probably not?

Regards
