I'm having a touch of trouble with that diff -

Yeah I know, someone is going to yell at me - I'm running 3.2-stable and trying to use a -current port. I know. I know. I don't think this is an issue here. If it is, I'll switch to a snapshot and try it again.

First, I applied the diff from your email - all applies well.

Then, I have to go clean out the .orig files in the patches/ directories else stuff bombs.

Then I have to clean out the empty patch files that have been deleted.

(Sidenote - Is there any way to get patch to do this for me? Or should I be using something other than patch -p0 < patch_file from within /usr/ports/www/php4)

Make runs fine in core/. Make doesn't do so well in extensions/.

I get this:

Do you need help?X

checking whether SSL libraries are needed for c-client... /usr/lib checking whether IMAP works... no
configure: error: build test failed. Please check the config.log for details.
*** Error code 1

Stop in /usr/ports/www/php4/extensions (line 1718 of /usr/ports/infrastructure/mk/bsd.port.mk)

I've attached config.log and the output from make, but this little tidbit from config.log seems to be pertinent: ld: -lgssapi_krb5: no match

It happens right before the error it seems.

Is this something that has been added since 3.2? This was an issue with php4.3.0 when I first tried compiling it WITHOUT the help of a port, so I'd imagine it isn't.

Any ideas?
