Apple internal modem driver

Marc Boucher has produced a Linux driver for Mac HCF modems, available from http://www.mbsi.ca/cnxtlindrv/hcf/downloads.html

The licence
http://www.mbsi.ca/cnxtlindrv/hcf/downloads-license.html looks okay at first glance, and source (and even the AT command set docs) is available (tho' some of it is (near-) binaries).

Imagine, running OpenBSD on your TiBook and being able to use the internal modem when travelling ... mmmmm, :)

Can someone port it to OpenBSD or something? I'd do it myself, if I could. Alternatively, any suggestions as to how to get it to work? Linux compatibility doesn't work in macppc :-(
