I did a fresh install yesterday, again the same snapshot, cvs-uped /usr/ports and rebuild all needed ports, now xosview runs again. On the other side jdk-1.3.1-linux now dumps core (redhat_base-8.0). This was running before on the same snapshot with redhat_base-6.2 as well as with redhat_base-8.0.
I followed the same install-procedure like before, strange;)

leopold-bloom@lap:28$ java
OUCH: nested memory code, to 1 levels.
Abort (core dumped)
leopold-bloom@lap:29$

Others have reported this too.
