BTW, if anyone needs w3m now... You can use Marc Espie's COMPAT_AOUT_TRANSLATE . This assumes you still have access to the relevant pre-ELF packages.

I've been using it this way, and it works just fine. Of course, using compat a.out does not fix the breakage.
