here is a new port, www/mod_python: pkg/DESCR: Mod_python is an Apache module that embeds the Python interpreter within the server. With mod_python you can write web-based applications in Python that will run many times faster than traditional CGI and will have access to advanced features such as ability to retain database connections and other data between hits anc access to Apache internals. I also attach a patch for lang/python/Makefile.inc. Why? Because in our port python is compiled by default --with-threads, which Apache does not support --> mod_python won't work. Tell me if I did it the right way, or provide me with another option. Thanks in advance. cheers.
