Ok this looks much more like it. I received ports from Rich Cannings for emacs21 and emacs21-leim. Here is the emacs-port, the leim port is upcoming.

I included his changes and some clean-ups (m-x delete-trailing- whitespace) and the now properly working patch to fix emacs -nw

Two sidenotes:

  I uncommented the kerberos-flavor since it's no longer supported in   current. And I bet nobody will mourn if it is entirely removed but you   never know.

  The install and uninstall command for the info-files no longer show   up. But the infopages work fine both from commandline and in emacs.   Are these commands no longer required?
