Any interest in a Mozilla port?

Is there any interest in a port for Mozilla 1.4 or Firebird? I tried the port in 3.3 and it still says it's disabled. So I downloaded both Mozilla 1.4 and Firebird from mozilla.org and they both build (statically linked) ok. Or do ports have to dynamic link before they can be submitted?
