IBM Microdrive on USB not recognized
From: John R. Shannon <john(at)johnrshannon.com>

I'm using OpenBSD3.2-STABLE with a generic kernel, an OnSpec "One for All Flash Media Drive (Console) B29911" (USB) and an IBM microdrive. The firmware is recognizing the drive, but only the controllers are showing up in dmesg (at end of post). The Intel D845GEBG2 motherboard is based on the 845E chipset. usbdevs -v shows the following:
Controller /dev/usb0:
Are there known problems with this device? Is there a USB interface that works with IBM microdrives? The microdrive has a CF+ interface but draws a lot of power (250-260ma during write). This dmesg is from a boot with the microdrive plugged in: OpenBSD 3.2-stable (GENERIC) #1: Mon Dec 2 13:38:44 MST 2002
