serial mouse in xfree86 (openbsd 3.2) - help!

Hello,

Maybe I should have posted in "misc" but oh well.

I have an inteliimouse-type mouse on the serial port.

In netbsd I just set mouse as /dev/tty00

Trying this in openbsd gets perm denied etc.

I treid:

sh MAKEDEV tty00
tip tty00 then running startx in another window cua00
ttyXX - not every one, but nearly alkll the likely combinations wsmouse*

wiggling the mouse on startup to get it listed in dmesg (it isnt normally)

Do you need help?X

Searched through list archives... changed type to Microsoft, Auto tried everything I could to no avail!

The nearest I get is is a few of the tty's dont make X quit, show a mouse cursor but no movement or clicking works...

Maybe if someone could explain how the mouse thing works in X I could understand better and not just blindly try things out...

I tried as many dev's as possible, none of them working.

I read about tip tty00; dv=cua00 or something but didn't try it as neither work.

Everytime X quits it says "permission denied" for xf86openserial or something like that... I even chmod'd and it didnt do anything!

Help!
