Re: [feature request] starting and stopping pflogd

What exactly is the problem with killing it? It logs it's pid to /var/run/pflogd.pid so it's easy to get at the pid.

Just put the following into your ppp.linkdown script.

kill `tail -1 /var/run/pflogd.pid`

The pflogd will clean up and exit.
