Yes Sun Cards where made by NPI and they do use the PLAYER chip set from National.
but there is also cards by Crescendo and then bought out by CISCO and then acquired by
Interphase. BTW Interphase also made lots of FDDI / CDDI cards and they used AMD and
Motorala chip sets.

I live near Interphase and they have helped me out before by supplying EOL'ed drivers for Sbus hardware but then again most of the work I do is with Solaris...

I guess that I will have to make some calls to some old friends... but I dont know whats left
as they just moved to much smaller building...
