 Trying to upgrade to current (Feb 19) from 3.2 Release on i386. I follow upgrade-minifaq.

in 3.2.3 item:
> Build and install a new ld.so

and then
> Rebuild and install a new libc

after ld.so installation, next step for libc build

# cd /usr/src/include
# make prereq && make includes
  and it stopped with SIGSEGV in perl

===> crypto
cat /usr/src/lib/libssl/crypto/../src/crypto/objects/obj_mac.num > obj_mac.num. mp /usr/bin/perl /usr/src/lib/libssl/crypto/../src/crypto/objects/objects.pl /usr/ rc/lib/libssl/crypto/../src/crypto/objects/objects.txt obj_mac.num.tmp obj_mac.

*** Signal 11
Stop in /usr/src/lib/libssl/crypto (line 250 of /usr/src/lib/libssl/crypto/Make ile). *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/src/lib/libssl. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/src/include (line 82 of Makefile).

So I try first to install libc and only then install ld.so. It's works and I build system with no more problems.

So, what it was? Is it my mistake?
