[continued] umass0 changed from using SCSI over BBB-P to using ATAPI over CBI

I'm sorry for the long post, it's mostly due to dmesg output. Nathan seems a bit too busy to be able to help me at the moment, so I wonder if anyone else possibly could enlighten me on this USB issue. In short: My USB device, a card reader, identified as umass0 at uhub1 port 1 configuration 1 interface 0147 umass0: SCM Microsystems Inc. eUSB MultiMediaCard Adapter, rev 1.10/4.04, addr 3148 umass0: using ATAPI over CBI$ ... stopped working a month ago. The vendor ID (0x04e6) and product ID (0x0006) seems to tell the USB code to use UMASS_WPROTO_CBI and UMASS_CPROTO_ATAPI although it should in fact be using UMASS_WPROTO_BBB and UMASS_CPROTO_SCSI (it did when it worked). I don't know enough about device drivers on OpenBSD, unfortunately, but it would be great if someone could explain the format of the umass_quirks.c file and/or what I probably should change/add/delete in there to make my device work again. Full dmesg output and output of "usbdevs -v" is found below.
Cheers,
