Re: unionfs diagnostics question

There may be another solution which is to follow what we on read only CF's have been doing.

I have a /mfs/ partition which is "seeded" from /mfs.PROTO/ on startup.

It includes /mfs/var.run/ and /mfs/var.tmp/ and /mfs/resolv.conf and so forth.

The ACTUAL files/dirs are simply symlinks over to the /mfs/ ones.

Oh, and /dev/ is populated on startup since devfs isn't here yet. I've moved MAKEDEV to /sbin/ (it's a system script, needed at startup, so /sbin/ is right per hier(7).
