Lack of VND devices (more than 8)

I'm trying to make ftp server running openbsd with a couple of iso images mounted to some directories.

I founded some discussions about it and

  • increased pseudo-device vnd 64
  • make vnd4-8 in /dev/ using MAKEDEV

Now, look at my test:

bash-2.05b# vnconfig vnd0 1.img
bash-2.05b# vnconfig vnd8 2.img
vnconfig: VNDIOCSET: Device busy

bash-2.05b# vnconfig -u vnd0
bash-2.05b# vnconfig vnd8 2.img
bash-2.05b#

the problem is (as I think) simple:
bash-2.05b# ls -la /dev/svnd0c /dev/vnd8c brw-r----- 1 root operator 14, 130 Sep 23 22:37 /dev/svnd0c brw-r----- 1 root operator 14, 130 Sep 24 10:11 /dev/vnd8c bash-2.05b#

The minor device numbers are the same, so these vnd0 and vnd8 are the same (or something similar).

Does OpenBSD 3.3 support more than 8 vnd devices? How to configure them? (which major and minor device numbers?)

Sincerely

Do you need help?X
