Hi Lachlan and All ,

     Once gain thanks a lot.

To send UDP at a rate higher than 1Mbps, you need to specify -b to

      The following are the result.

       $ iperf -u -c 10.128.0.2  -b 100m -t 300 -i 2
       ------------------------------------------------------------
Client connecting to 10.128.0.2, UDP port 5001
       Sending 1470 byte datagrams
UDP buffer size: 105 KByte (default)
      ------------------------------------------------------------
      [ 3] local 192.168.60.62 port 32772 connected with 10.128.0.2 port
5001
      [ 3] 0.0- 2.0 sec 22.9 MBytes 96.0 Mbits/sec
      [ 3] 2.0- 4.0 sec 22.8 MBytes 95.6 Mbits/sec
      [ 3] 4.0- 6.0 sec 22.8 MBytes 95.8 Mbits/sec
      [ 3] 6.0- 8.0 sec 22.8 MBytes 95.8 Mbits/sec
      [ 3] 8.0-10.0 sec 22.8 MBytes 95.6 Mbits/sec
      [ 3] 10.0-12.0 sec 22.8 MBytes 95.8 Mbits/sec

    So , I am getting a link utilisation of 95 mbs .

Once again thanks to all who guided me in understanding and completing the experiment satisfactorily.

Now , I will try to get the router level information and I will get back to the mailing list.

    With Thanks and Regards
    zaman
