Take a look at vde (Virtual Device Ethernet). I've been able to set up
several KVM VMs that can communicate with each other, and with a little
iptables forwarding magic, can be accessed from the outside world.
Unfortunately, it hasn't been packaged for Fedora, yet, so you'll have
to download and compile, but it's not too bad.
