errors following vixie-cron update

After installing the new vixie-cron (vixie-cron-4.2-8.fc8), no cron jobs have run:

Feb 20 08:01:01 sds-desk crond[905]: CRON (root): failed to open PAM security session: Module is unknown

Manually restarting cron this morning seems to have fixed the problem.
