Powerchute Network Shutdown

I don't seem to be able to install Powerchute Network Shutdown 2.2.1 on a RHEL5 x86 machine.

According to APC's web site, PCNS 2.2.1 is the latest version, but RHEL5 is not on their list of supported operating systems, but I was wondering if anyone here has been able to get it to work?
