if you use smb mounts, you loose rsync optimizations. Just install cygwin and continue to use rsync. There is plenty of google fodder on cwrysnc and similar systems (unison may be something good too) I've done a little documentation at you might scan http://wt.pp.asu.edu/z2/do/copp/infotech/techNotes/sysAdmin/rsynk1/http://wt.pp.asu.edu/z2/do/copp/infotech/techNotes/sysAdmin/cygssh/http://wt.pp.asu.edu/z2/do/copp/infotech/techNotes/sysAdmin/pullscript/ and see if any of it is usefull. I haven't updated these docs in a while but they may get you started. > -- David Bear phone: 602-496-0424 fax: 602-496-0955 College of Public Programs/ASU University Center Rm 622 411 N Central Phoenix, AZ 85007-0685 "Beware the IP portfolio, everyone will be suspect of trespassing" -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:redhat-list-request@redhat.com?subject=unsubscribe https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-listReceived on Wed Sep 12 18:02:40 2007 This archive was generated by hypermail 2.1.8 : Wed Oct 10 2007 - 00:40:54 EDT |
