RE: A question about ISS gigabit network sensor.

Many clients have the Gigabit sensor installed. It has been shipping for over two years. You can use either the Intel Pro 1000F or the SysKonnect SK-9843 SK-NET GE-SX adapter. Special high speed gigabit drivers have been written for these NICs. For true gigabit performance ISS does not recommend using any other NICs.

Here is a link to the system requirements: http://documents.iss.net/literature/RealSecure/rs_sysreqs.pdf

Subject: A question about ISS gigabit network sensor.

Hi all,

Is anybody using this? From the documentation I gather that this product supports only one network card - Intel Pro 1000F (fiber, not base-tx gigabit). Is this true? Did anybody try to use any other base-tx adapters or is it impossible?

Kind regards,
W.
