TDS level attack- IDS and Industrial intelligence

Greeting folks,

I would appreciate your insight about TDS (Tabular Data Stream) inspection and attack techniques. I was checking with most leading IDS providers and i couldn't find any that parse TDS packets.

Further more, i couldn't find any application level proxy for SQL traffic.

Considering the fact that the internal threat is moving into the central stage of security awareness I think security at the data object level will become a key issue.
