RE: Red Hat: To patch or to upgrade?

I had a 6.2 box, my first attempt was to patch it, upgrading the rpms in use, since up2date was not an option there, it proved to be an akward method (mainly because the lack of previous maintenance), so I finally upgraded it to 7.2 and thereafter to 7.3, which was a smooth process with no related issues, but then again it wasn't a production machine, so anxiety levels were not very high ;-)

I'll be doing the same with the rest of the boxes, probably to 7.3.

I heard RedHat isn't going to release any more updates for 6.2, 7.0, 7.1 and 7.2. Does this fact apply to 7.3 also?

Regards,

Martin
