If I'm not mistaken, Win2k doesn't have shutdown.exe by default...I think it's in the Resource kit....

However, it wouldn't matter because the patch may not apply if RPC/DCOM has crashed. Every time I've tried installing the patch when RPC has crashed has resulted in a hung installer about half way through...
