RE: GroupWise vs Exchange

BUT (this is the important part) Norton has a anti-virus for exchange servers! So if your users don't have any anti-virus on their workstations you don't need to worry about them getting virus' thru email (only problem with that is, if they have other pop3 accounts setup in outlook).

We are a Novell shop and use GroupWise for e-mail. We are considering moving to Exchange. Obviously, virus outbreaks will be more prevalent with Exchange but I was wondering if anyone has (or knows where I could find) hard numbers relating to this. For instance, a case study of a shop that has made this change and costs associated with outbreaks went up by X amount. Or GroupWise shops average X amount of outbreaks a year while Exchange users average X, and at this cost. If anyone can help me with this I would appreciate it.
Thanks
