Deepak,

Are you running any Anti-Virus? If so, is it up to date with the latest definitions? If it is, then run the av scanner from Safe mode. If not or you cant get it to run in safe mode, then get a hold of a good DOS based Anti-virus program(i.e. f-prot)with current defs and scan your computer with that.

Try http://www.claymania.com/f-prot.html for f-prot links and info.

Post any results to the list.

Subject: Common Name Virus hides D:\ drive

Hi All,

I am in desperate need of help.
I use Kazaa to download documents, and since the past 2 days I have seen all
kinds of Spyware like Common Name / Mozilla files / Eula files etc... being
downloaded on my PC.

Today my D: Drive has all its files hidden (3GB of information) all renamed
/ hidden, and I am not able to see it through DOS / making the disk a Secondary Hard disk by adding another Windows disk as the Primary disk.. but
no luck.

Do you need help?X

Anyone hear of this before.
Please help.

Thanks in advance.
Regards
Deepak Vyas
