You will need to better define what you mean by wiping. Can viruses delete/corrupt files on an NT partition? Yes. Can a virus intefere with the NT boot process so that you can't get to the partition when boot? Yes, but I haven't read of any that do so. Can a virus delete an NT partition? Not yet.
