RE: Norton Antivirus

This happens because Norton cannot move or clean a file which is currently being used by the system.

This is a limitation of their technology, and of most antivirus in the market.

There is techonolgy from Hauri, which can clean even if the file is being used by the system,

Chuck,

I encountered the same problem and called Symantec on this. They told me the problem was that the pc that the virus was coming up has virus's in its quarantine. when you delete them from the quarantine of the pc the notifications should stop popping up.

I am having a problem with a client's NAV Corporate Edition version 7.6. It detects viruses just fine, but leaves them alone (Log Only) even when all settings are Quarantine or Delete, especially with files running under the System account. Anyone know what this is about?
