tcpreplay/libnet error

I'm trying to install the latest version of tcpreplay (1.3 stable) along with libnet 1.1. Everything compiled and installed without any problems, however when I try to run tcpreplay on any interface I get the following error: Can't open <interface>: libnet_select_device(): Can't find interface <interface> doing a tcpreplay -V gives me:
# tcpreplay -V
I can tcpdump on the interfaces, I mean they are up and usable and everything... I googled the archives, but the only time this error was discussed was when someone wanted to play traffic on the loopback... the system I'm installing on is FreeBSD 4.5 release. If anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be cool. st0ne To unsubscribe, e-mail: libnet-unsubscribe@securityfocus.com For additional commands, e-mail: libnet-help@securityfocus.com Received on Thu Dec 19 15:53:40 2002 This archive was generated by hypermail 2.1.8 : Wed Aug 23 2006 - 14:02:22 EDT |
