That's the same conclusion I came to tonight.
The next release of libnet should probably be libnet2.0 (or libnet2-2.0).
The include file should be libnet2.h, etc, etc.
And -- just because to do otherwise would confuse people --
we would mercifully let the config script live on, as libnet2-config.
We would want to submit patches to fix the major apps out there
that have already moved to libnet-1.1, as
a way of apologizing for getting the naming wrong the first time.
Does that sound like a plan? I guess the author of libnet is the
guy to convince, or?
