I never contested that. I'm just offering a suggestion, and I contributed a patch to show clearly what I was talking about. Since the main user of libnet-1.1 in my group has ditched it in favor of libdnet (possibly because libdnet doesn't have this unresolved issue complicating installs), I no longer care as urgently about this. I do think the maintainer probably should do the renaming I proposed.
