libnet performance [was Re: Intrusion reaction application]

Curious after reading the below post ...

  Has anyone done any performance benchmarks with libnet included ...

I guess Im curious if people who use libnet for larger applications (not for just creating a DoS program :D) have noticed anything major in hte libnet code.

I should admit that Im not positive libnet will show up on any performance radar screen, but just wanting to flush some thoughts out that are lurking in my head.
