('binary' encoding is not supported, stored as-is)
Hi,
i just installed the latest libnet 1.1.0 on my new redhat linux 9
installation. i follewed the procedure ./configure , make and make install
and it worked. i tried to run the sample programs and they all worked
except for icmp6-echorequest which gives the error
libnet_init() failed: libnet_open_raw6(): SOCK_RAW allocation failed:
address family not supported by protocol.
is that a problem?
also when i try
gcc - Wall 'libnet-config --defines' foo.c 'libnet-config --libs'
i get the error bash: libnet-config: command not found
now this is a problem!!
can someone tell me how i sort this out?
with warm regards
