Depending on how your code has been written, the versions of LibnetNT I'm familiar with have a few inconsistencies when compared to the Unix version.

  1. libnet_get_hwaddr always fails (Returns a hardware address of 00:00:00:00:00:00).
  2. libnet_select_device assumes memory has been allocated to store the device name and will cause your application to crash if you don't make sure memory has been allocated before calling libnet_select_device.

It looks like the guy who was working on LibnetNT 1.0.2f died (at least according to http://www.securitybugware.org). I've fixed the problems listed above and as soon as Mike Davis gets a chance to take a look at the code, I'll be sending it to Mike Schiffman who said he'd host LibnetNT 1.0.2g on the packetfactory website.

Given all the work that's gone into libnet 1.1.1, a highly reliable version for Win32 should be available any day now.
