Received on Sun Jul 13 17:33:03 2003Date: Sun Jul 13 2003 - 17:22:04 EDT anyway when you say 0 to Linux he's a bit deaf and understands 1024 ;) he seems to always want to have a buffer, even though little :( anyway Windows should not behave that way: have a look at msdn: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/winsock/winsock/tcp_ip_specific_issues_2.asp since windows has got BSD sockets (exept that errno is augmented by ten thousands) i guess the same should be for the various BSD...
Linux is a bit particular, expecially about SNDBUF... (if you search on google about Linux and SNDBUF you'll notice that it tells you the double of SNDBUF when you want to know how big it is...)
