first off DONT LOG IN VIA SSH AS ROOT OR configure they sshd to allow it, just simply use a user account to log in and then su cmd into root. by doing this you greatly decrease the vulnerablity of your machine.

Has anyone solved the problem of how to slogin as a user, su to root and still allow an X tunnel to work? I mean a method that Joe Application Support can understand and use easily.
