Hello World!

I've been using ssh for a few weeks now, and i've just come by the man pages and learned that i do not have to type my password in each time to log into my home directory... With that, i created a new key with ssh-keygen... and copied the id_rsa.pub file to $HOME/.ssh/authorized_keys/ and kept the id_rsa in it's default directory.

Now, it seems from the manual that this should be all i need to do to avert having to type my password to log in, but i am apparently doing something wrong because i still have too...

Here's the debug:
...

debug1: Found key in /home/drpoo/.ssh/known_hosts2:1
debug1: bits set: 1574/3191
debug1: ssh_rsa_verify: signature correct
debug1: kex_derive_keys

debug1: authentications that can continue:

debug2: we did not send a packet, disable method
debug3: authmethod_lookup password
debug3: remaining preferred: keyboard-interactive
debug3: authmethod_is_enabled password
debug1: next auth method to try is password
drpoo@216.12.218.209's password:

... and as you can see from the last line, it ultimately asks for me to enter my password. If i'm looking at the debug correctly, it did find the private rsa key and the public key... and it says "debug2: we sent a publickey packet, wait for reply"
but then it just coninues on withing accepting the rsa apparently.

Any suggestions?? Might this be a sshd config problem? Should i include more information for anyone to help me or point to a good reference?

Thanks in advance.
