RE: sftp in shell script

sftp does not work in an interactive mode. I tried using sftp from within a Java program that passes it the password and stuff but i get a "not a typewriter" warning. After working on solving this for a long time i decided to use ssh/scp for solving the purpose.

Putting the password in an expect script is silly.
