Tunnelling Squid Proxy
From: Tim Evans <tkevans(at)tkevans.com>
Date: Wed Nov 27 2002 - 08:51:51 EST I have a remote (outside-the-U.S.) user for whom X-forwarding is unacceptable due to slow links. Some sites are not directly accessible from his location. Is it possible to tunnel Web proxy services (squid, or some such) so he can use his local browser to go via the proxy, appearing to be coming from the inside proxy server? Thanks. -- Tim Evans | 5 Chestnut Court tkevans@tkevans.com | Owings Mills, MD 21117 http://www.tkevans.com/ | 443-394-3864; 410-748-0160 (pager)Received on Thu Nov 28 11:21:05 2002 This archive was generated by hypermail 2.1.8 : Wed Aug 23 2006 - 14:02:51 EDT |
