Remote commands using ssh-agent

Is-it possible with a ssh-agent (with a ssh-add too) started at boot time to allow crontab to perform remote commands :

# ssh <my_remote_host> <my_custom_command>

Is-it a secure way to perform remote commands ? If yes, how to configure that ? If no, is there another secure way to do that ?
